I am a second-generation Chinese American with a diverse background bridging science and creativity. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Houston through the teachHouston program, I initially found fulfillment as a Biology/Physics teacher for three years. However, my passion for blending artistic creativity with my acquired skills led me to discover UI Design, thanks to my sister—a UX Designer.

Motivated by this revelation, I completed the CareerFoundry UI Design Program, honing my ability to create user-centric, aesthetically pleasing designs. My experience as an educator uniquely positions me to empathize with users and anticipate their needs effectively.

Outside of design, I find joy in family time, often babysitting my nieces and nephews on weekends. I also embrace new hobbies, ranging from reading and cooking to rock climbing and gaming—reflecting my adventurous spirit and curiosity.

I am particularly passionate about skincare/beauty, education, and gaming, industries that have fascinated me since childhood. My goal is to contribute meaningfully to projects within these fields, enabling deeper research and building my skillset as a designer.

In addition to these pursuits, I am a proud pet parent, having adopted a dog from a shelter and caring for two rabbits. Through my journey, I am committed to continuous improvement in my craft and excited to explore new horizons in the design world.
